These beautiful hand-loom shawls are made locally in a small village located in Himachal Pradesh. The shawls are made with a lovely blend of Himalayan merino wool, which is hand dyed with natural dyes. The artisan puts in a great effort to hand-loom such unique pieces. These shawls are 60% merino wool with 20% polyester. The reason why polyester is used for the boarder is because it eliminates fade, which ensures the integrity of the color. If you are looking for 100% merino wool that is possible with a small increase of price and some extra time to create. As our weaver makes these pieces entirely by hand, he can customize to suit most requirements. Please bear in mind there will be some more time needed for these orders.
