What an amazing find! Buy one or all 3 of these rock crystal pieces from the 1920s! Perfect for a wedding day or any time you need a little extra sparkle. Let's start with the earrings. The chunky cut rock crystal screw backs are suspended by some kind of white pot metal with what looks like a white paste at the ear. They are about 37mm long and the rock crystal is faceted on all sides. Its a particularly lovely cut with wonderful prismatic effects-- I had a rainy day for photos but I will try to update when I have sun. The rock crystal chunks are about 16mmx13mm. The first necklace is choker length, about 16 inches long, with rondelle style faceted graduated rock crystal beads that range in size from 15mm to 7mm in diameter and more diamond shaped rondelle spacer beads. It seems to be on its original chain string, as opposed to a knotted string-- I have found that most of these pieces from the 1920s were strung on a chain as this one is. It has a simple spring ring clasp and is unmarked. It weighs 53.32 grams. The 18 inch necklace pairs nicely with the 16 inch if you wanted the 2 strand look and features the same cut and sizes of graduated rock crystal beads. It looks to have been restrung on white silk and has a silver metal hook clasp, which unfortunately disintegrated in my hand as I was taking photos! Not to worry-- if you like I have have this strung with a similar spring ring to the 16 inch so that you can connect both necklaces for a long 34" look that gives you maximum versatility (honestly that's what I would do if I was keeping these beauties!) Shipping will take a bit longer if you choose to do that so please take note. The 18 inch necklace weighs 52.49 grams. Condition is great on all 3. The earrings have a few small flea bites on the facets but look great on the ears. These are all from a collector of rock crystal and I may have more pieces in my shop in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
