I used to number my desks/tables by writing the numbers on post its and taping them to the corner of each desk. Over time, the students would pick at the tape, write/doodle on it, or it would just come off! For me, it was annoying for me to rewrite the numbers constantly and waste my colorful post it notes! I thought of just creating a template that I could easily print and keep copies handy - when needed. Over the years, I've added new fun backgrounds to the numbers, for a more fun look! For me, having these handy has been SO helpful and easy! I hope you find them to be helpful too! As a middle school teacher, this was by far the easiest way to assign seats. Anytime I assigned new seats, I would stand at the door with my numbered seating chart and let students know where they sat. As simple as that!
