Product Details
A Beautiful Gaji silk dupatta with the combination of two different crafts Bandhani and Ajrakh. Bandhani is a traditional form of tie-dye native to Gujarat and Rajasthan. It is a highly skilled technique where the fabric is elaborately tied & dipped in dyes and threads are removed leaving behind tiny circles characteristic of Bandhani. Ajrakh derived from the Persian to mean Indigo, a color hard to miss among the geometric and floral patterns of Ajrakh work. Ajrakh is a block-printing technique from the Kutch region in Gujarat. The earthquake of 2001 led the Khatri community to form Ajrakhpur, where karigars resumed block printing using natural dyes. The process of making a single piece is sixteen steps long and takes weeks to complete. The Product is handmade using the ajrakh block-printing technique and may have slight irregularities and variations of color (light and dark), patterns, other delicate inefficiencies. The colors seen in the image may vary from the actual product due to different screen resolutions and displays. Any Queries Chat With Us..
