This is a stunning rare antique shakudo necklace.The necklace is Japanese and was made in the 1920s era.The necklace is made of brass and black enamels.The necklace consists of a series of fluted circles and ovals,all linked together.Hanging from the necklace is a larger fluted roundel with a teardrop shape hanging from it..All the pieces are handpainted in 24ct gold.The designs feature traditional Japanese scenes of landscapes featuring trees,water,mountains,pakodas.All executed in beautiful fine design and workmanship.The handpainting is superb.Its a rare piece and looks lovley on.The necklace is in very good condition, but does have some wear and tear.Please study the pictures.The necklace is 64 cm long in total including the large roundel and tear drop..The pretty alligator clip works well. .The necklace comes with a velvet drawstring bag.
