A beautiful antique Georgian (1714-1837) or Victorian (1837-1901) Era memorial or mourning ring with rose cut diamond & black enamel in 18k yellow gold. This wonderful ring features five glittering rose cut diamonds rub over set in sterling silver, as was typical of the period, in a quatrefoil or Tudor rose design atop a square of bezel gold turned on its axis and hand engraved with the void flooded with black enamel leading to equally beautifully hand engraved shoulders that are also enameled and top top and bottom of the band engraved. The inner locket compartment is now empty and the ring is hallmarked for 18k gold, London, England, with the date assay lost due to previous resizing. Ring size: US 8 and sizable This piece has been cleaned and is ready for immediate wear! Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age. Signs of previous resizing up.
