This is a stunning simulated ruby gemstone ring. The man-made red ruby gem has amazing color and perfect clarity. This gemstone is 18mm x 13mm. The garden themed filigree circles the edge of the ring and extends down the band accenting the beautiful large gemstone. Seed pearls surround the large 18 carat gemstone, creating a vibrant contrast. Holding the seed pearls in place are 4 silver leaves edges and fine wire. The hand-strung seed pearls are approximately 2mm. The seed pearls are strung tight to make them secure. The ring is 24mm North to South on the finger (15/16th"). The setting is marked 925 for solid sterling silver.
The approximately 100 year old setting was recast so that others could share in this classic beauty. This ring is delicate, and with proper care can become a family heirloom. This is an elegant piece of jewelry that can be passed on for generations and treasured.
