Biblical Olive Oil Lamps. Authentic Reproduction Of Original Holy Land Oil Lamps Used During Biblical Times.

Here are pictures that show how to make an oil lamp out of air dry clay. It takes about an hour to make this style of lamp. This is not a historically accurate style of lamp that would have been used in Bible days, but it's still fun. Know that you should coat your clay lamp with a shellac or varnish so that the oil doesn't sink in and cause your lamp to crumble.
