The first clay was a speckled brown clay by Standard and the second clay is Bmix by Laguna; a white, porcelaneous stoneware.  . While working on my first collection of the speckled clay, I managed to squeeze in these yunomis using the Bmix. The next collection will be made predominantly using Bmix and will (in theory) look much like these pieces in this video.  . A breakdown of the process shown: after bisque, a purple underglaze wash is applied and then the excess is wiped off. Blue painters tape is used to mask the leading edge of the rim.  . White stroke and coat glaze is mixed with red and green food coloring.
