Working in a furniture manufacturing company by day, made me realize that many pieces of melamine-faced chipboard were going to waste, since they were too small for use in furniture. I decided to "recycle" them by transforming them in art pieces and useful house products! The process for each piece with melamine-faced chipboard is as followed: * First, the desired pattern is created on paper. This step is required to determine the right dimensions of the board and the number of nails needed. * The paper pattern is used to trace the nail holes on the piece. * The board is carefully nailed using a hammer, making sure every nail is as straight as possible. * The next step is to wrap cotton thread/embroidery floss around the nail grid to bring the design to life!
