A remodeled 1920s bungalow that received a striking black exterior and bright interior.

<p>A welcoming kitchen was at the top of the wish list for the owners of this 1920s Colonial Revival. The resulting renovation delivered everything they hoped for while respecting the house’s heritage.</p>

Owning a historic, 110-year-old home is an honor of a lifetime and with that privilege, also comes responsibility. This year I'm tackling some repairs to do my part in making sure my home will last the next 100 years.

Part 1 of our little home transformation - the front of the house and downstairs 🙌 here’s what we did: 🤍 restored the front of the house by removing the pebbledash, repairing and repointing the bricks, restoring the bay window and taking down the porch, and replacing the windows 🤍 removed the downstairs bathroom and made the kitchen twice the size, completely renovating it 🤍 put up walls again around the living room as the whole ground floor had been open plan, and again completely…
