This magnificent Pre-Columbian Stone and silver bead necklace features a stunning mix of subtly textured sterling beads interspersed with ancient stone beads. I fabricated the center sterling bead which measures 1 1/4 " in length (varies slightly) and 1/2 inch in depth and textured it to look roughly like stone. I also made the triangular shaped clasp which also features the same "stone" surface. Each triangle measures roughly 7/8" (22mm) long with it's corresponding wrapped wire clasp measuring 3/4" (19mm) long. The 8 small tapered oval sterling beads measure 14mm x 7mm and 16mm x 8mm. The patina on the silver adds to the overall aged and subtle look and does not distract from the 52 Pre-Columbian stone beads. The total length of the neckpiece is 19.5 inches; the center silver bead falls just over 3" below my collarbone when worn. It will ship USPS Priority Mail with insurance.
