Chandler and Lucy were living in California when they decided to move to NYC for the first time. Though they initially were looking for one-bedrooms, when their friend saw a great studio on the Upper West Side, they submitted their application and trusted that it would work!

It is the "quintessential New York studio."

After moving, Samantha started with nothing, but furnished this whole apartment (hardware, lights, painting, installing shelves and art etc.) in about a month.

When you see how lovely Melina's West Village studio apartment is, you'll understand why she's willing to live in only 300 square feet and walk up multiple flights up stairs.
