The elaborate custom quilting makes this a stunning quilt - see line drawing showing the design. Quilt is bordered with a leaf design on all four sides. Seamless backing is a green color Moda print by Holly Taylor with a print of subtle poinsettia's. Super large throw and large enough for a bed this quilt measures 63" x 73". We put a lot of time and attention not only to the creation of the quilt top but also into how the final quilting plays its role in the completion of the quilt. Be sure to see all photos. We use the highly rated, preferred Hobbs 80/20 batting in all our art quilts, thereby eliminating the permanent fold lines that quilts with only 100 percent cotton batting will acquire through time. The binding is double layered (also known as French-folded) and machine stitched to the quilt for extra durability.
