Guys this Google Fi service is an absolute scam. Do not opt for it. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting 10 times in 20 minutes and has become a curse for most users. I have contacted customer support about 10 times and they make you go through troubleshooting which gives no result at all and then they tell you that a specialist is going to email you soon but that never happens. Buy any other online esim service And that works perfectly fine , much cheaper and much better/faster as well.

They kept increasing my phone bill each subsequent month due to "increased data usage" despite the fact that I was connected to wifi about 80% of the time. Even the data tracker in the app falsely represented how much data I was using, and my bill was jacked up at least 70 dollars over my previous data cycles. Oh, and even 6 or 7 months after I discontinued their service, they kept invoicing me for bills between $82 and $107. Buyer beware, you're in for a scam.

I only switched to Google Fi after being with my previous carrier for 10 years in order to get a discount on a new phone I wanted. The phone service performance was not as good as my previous carrier, and what is really irritating is Google Fi does not pro-rate the billing when you cancel service (with the Unlimited Plan apparently). I've never heard of a phone company that didn't pro-rate the bill when service is terminated. I've already been charged an extra month after I canceled service.
