1. With the new OneDrive update, you have to back out of each subfolder by pressing the left arrow at the top of the screen. With the old way, the file icon was still shown on each page, so you could easily go back to the home screen (where your main file folders are). 2. There are two things people don't like changes to: Bank apps & cloud apps!! Stop changing things people rely on each day (The new OneDrive is horrible). Stop paying people to change the way an app looks! Consistency is key!

Fails as a file manager. Have to select each file individually because there's no "select all" or slide-to-select feature for moving or copying files. Doesn't check to see if files you're uploading to a location already exist so you don't waste space duplicating files; it just duplicates the files which you then have to undo. These are basic features that every other cloud storage app has. Catch up to the present.

I can think of only one facet of the Android app that still needs attention. On the O.D. website there is an 'Info' icon you can click to find some stat's about a given file without opening it, & that can include the path in OneDrive to the file's precise location. That path is displayed on a side panel available on on a PC's web browser, but not on the Android app. At times, that info is useful. Still – overall – a handy & easy way to store Office files.

What’s new

You can now display your media files on a Chromecast receiver or TV from a compatible device. Look for a Cast icon showing in the top toolbar. We hope you enjoy this top-requested feature!
