I grew up watching Mary Martin as Peter, Allison Williams showed a great amount of talent, but she was simply hitting the notes and the rhythms and she did not bring the boy-ish energy that I was expecting. Christopher Walken as Hook was believable, his high notes though... Anyway... The "islanders" looked half naked, and the lost "boys" were kinda old. The pirates were amazing they had energy and were comedic. I wish Hook and Mr. Darling had been played by the same actor. Overall the show was okay.

For those saying that Peter should have been played by a boy, in the stage plays and musicals like this one Peter was played by a girl because they are said to be more flexible and easier to lift in the air. So that is why the part is played by women in the stage plays and musicals more than men are. But I loved this so much because I too grew up with Mary Marin and the others as Peter pan too. So I say Allison Williams was a wonderful chose for the role of Peter pan. :)

I think Allison Williams does a great job! 😆 saying that she got pointers from Mary Martin, Cathy Rigby!... And I'm probably the only 1 that noticed that the guy who played Smee also played in the 2013 production of Sound of Music live! As Max Detwarler! True the lost boys could have been a little younger I don't think that little one's would've been able to do all those DANCE move ' as well! ALSO Cathy Rigby had older boy's in her stage production of PETER PAN too!...
