This handmade wood shelf is made of pine and finished with a low VOC matte wax finish. It is made using sliding dovetail joints so it is easy to assemble and durable. These joints were more standard in older woodworking because they provide lasting strength without the needs for metal fasteners which fail due to tearout and breakage. The piece can be shipped as a finished product or can be assembled and finished by you!
