This unusual architectural structure is formed from living willow rods that have been planted in 2004 according to a design by Marcel Kalberer. The willow dome „Arena Salix“ at Schlepzig is used e.g. for concerts, near-natural workshops, religious services, and as place for marriage ceremonies.
