Each ladder is made to order, both in dimensions and wood species. The ladder in the photos is sugar maple with a tung oil finish. The rungs rotate on 3/8" hardened steel pins. Additionally, when measuring for your ladder, add one extra foot of length to the vertical height of where you will mount the bracket. for example if you will mount the bracket at 8 feet, you would want to order a 9 foot ladder. If you don't have a rail at the entrance of your loft, you may want extended side rails on your ladder without rungs to extend up past the floor for extra security.
