Wonderful silver bracelet, stamped, "Silver Mexico" on the clasp. This was made sometime during the the mid 20th century. No mark for a city or maker. The main links in the bracelet were cast with an intricate, Aztec inspired dimensional design, and are solid silver. The connecting links were most likely punched out of a sheet of silver and then lightly formed with a hammer. This bracelet was carefully tested with acid to confirm sterling silver content. The length is slightly over 7 inches and the weight is 1.4 ounces. Width is about 1 1/8 of an inch. Made in a popular style, this particular one is more substantial (heavier and a bit larger) than others I've seen. The silver has a rich patina. I did polish the highlights a little for contrast. Polish to your preference. The links show light surface wear. Closes securely with a tongue clasp. Easy, bohemian style.
