Lavender : smells amazing and also contains linalool which is an ingredient in products used to control mosquitoes 2. Marigolds: have a distinct smell that repels mosquitoes 3. Rosemary: had a woodsy scent that keeps mosquitoes away I found the planter and all plants @walmart. I planted the rosemary in the back and the marigolds and rosemary in front. Comment ‘DIY’ for a link to the supplies! I’m using copper toned aluminum wire. It’s pliable but sturdy enough to hold up the plants. You could also twist two pieces together to make it even more sturdy 😍 I’m always needing trellises for my plants so I keep this wire on hand. You can also find it in my Amazon storefront under diy copper trellis. An easy DIY is the best kind of diy 😜"

This is a gift for my mother-in-law who uses fresh herbs for cooking. Wanted to make it easy for her to maintain so I set up a DIY Olla to help irrigate her new herb garden 🤗 Herbs are from @burpeegardening Ollas are an ancient form of irrigation—I have been using them in my garden this past year to help water my tomatoes. The terra-cotta vessels are buried almost completely underground where they store water and release it slowly as needed through their porous exterior. Tip—if you’re making a DIY version like I did be sure it’s unglazed terracotta and if there is a drainage hole, that you plug it up
