As an artist I would describe myself as a meaning hunter. Everything speaks to me in ways I can’t explain, I’m only there to paint the absurdity and then again the natural course of everyday appearances. In my works I explore the uncanniness of being. I always seem to unwrap the exterior world, in order to find its soft and hidden core. Nothing is more fascinating to me than reality itself, so fugitive but yet so static, so obvious and so mysterious, as if it had an intuition of its own…
