Luxurious Venetian-style bead necklace of Kelly green & orange glass beads with a murrini glass flower that doubles as a pendant or brooch!

These delicious, Kelly green and orange, melon shaped beads are a modern interpretation of traditional, Luxurious Venetian-style glass trade beads. I collected them decades ago from the artisan, while I was on a trip to Indonesia. The pendant is a murrini glass flower produced when I was in a hot glass workshop in Singapore with internationally famous glass artist B. Jane Cowie. I prong-set the flower in a hand-made sterling silver mount so it can be worn separately as a brooch, or suspended from the necklace with the enhancer included in the package. I knotted between every pair of beads to prevent rubbing. The 26 inch (66 cm) long necklace closes with a hook-and-hook sterling sliver clasp which I hand fabricated.
