Women of this tribe use embroidery to decorate their colorful costumes. This embroidery has 14 different types of stitches. Geometric shapes such as square, rectangle, circles, diamonds are embroidered using contrasting colored threads. Labor of love. Each saree takes weeks to complete. The stitches are all different - 14 different types of them!! The choice of threads, mirrors and stitches are all unique to a particular saree and can't be replicated easily.
