Our collection of Zulu beadwork is hand-crafted by talented rural women from the surrounds of Durban, South Africa. These women are part of a Non-Profit AIDS Centre Trust which helps them regain Hope and Dignity by getting them to use their creativity to earn an income. African Creative provides a platform for their African beadwork skills, as well as the means to support themselves and their families. The beaders utilise Czech beads to take Zulu beadwork to new levels by combining traditional Zulu beadwork skill with contemporary designs, to create jewelry and objects that delight the senses with their richness and colour.
