Excellent condition except it is missing two tiny seed pearls that I have pointed to in the pictures. Smooth & comfortable. Just in between a US size 5 & 5 1/4. Included is a copy of a 25+ year old appraisal from 1994 valuing the ring at $1280. The appraisal reads: Lady's 14k yellow gold cast and assembled, sculpted oval top measuring 23 x 16 mm tapering to 2 mm, set with one oval mixed cut amethyst quartz measuring approx 10.41 x 8.90 x 4.78 mm. Clarity: TP. Colour: light purple. Finish: good. Encircled by eighteen 1.7-2.0 mm seed pearls. I can see there is a light 'feather' natural inclusion only when I use a backlight behind the gem. There is possibly a very work hallmark at the very top on the face, however it seems impossible to read. This has been electronically tested to confirm it is solid 14kt gold, not plated.
