I love the experimentation that comes with art making. I’ve been making bell shapes for over a year now and love the idea of giving them some additional height. I could layer them in the same space at different heights this way!? There are so many options!  As far as a first experimentation goes, I’m quite pleased with my needle felting results! One of my favorite parts of felting three dimensional, hollow forms is figuring out what the flat form should be before shaping it into the final piece. It feels like what I love about making clothes, but with a much quicker result!
