This Amethyst Grape Necklace and Dangle Earring set is a larger size version of the other ones I have listed here. They have a natural looking grape cluster with two overlapping 14kt yellow gold vermeil grape leaves with a lot of fine detail . The necklace design contains nine 3mm. Dark Purple Amethyst gemstones and the Earrings contain eighteen gemstones. The Amethyst gemstones are clustered in a natural looking way like an actual cluster of grapes. The pendant comes with a 14kt. Gold Vermeil 18" long 1mm. triple link pendant chain. The earrings dangle on 14kt gold vermeil French wires with a bead accent. Actual Size of pendant is 1 1/8" tall by 3/4" wide. The settings on this grape pendant and earring set are made in 14kt Gold Vermeil. Vermeil is a heavy 14kt gold overlay layered onto a base of 925 sterling silver. This is considered a luxury product using all precious metals. The gold overlay should last for many years without showing wear and it will not tarnish. This gives you a quality piece of jewelry much lower in price than solid 14kt gold. I was inspired in the creation of this jewelry by looking at how a actual cluster of grapes are attached to the grape stems. When I make the setting that holds the pearls or beads in place I designed it like the actual grape stem. This way I can hand arrange the stones or pearls after they are mounted onto the stems so that they look like actual grape clusters.
