Gorgeous demi-couture 1950s wedding gown. This piece is extraordinary. Cream satin underdress with a mesh top layer. The mesh is adorned with appliqués and beading on the skirt, bodice and sleeves. Delicate crochet trim is sewn at the waist and sleeve edges. Wide neck line that will sit on the outside of the shoulders. The sleeves have a curved edge and snaps that allow the wearer to adjust the sleeve width. Crystal, white, ecru and cream beads are placed in floral patterns on the front and back bodice. Center back metal zipper. Interior waist ties. Absolutely no stretch. Very good condition- perhaps never worn. On the lowest skirt row of lace, there is a two inch area that needs to be resewn.
