I am offering this very beautiful antique ring. It features a natural blue sapphire in an emerald cut. The sapphire is flanked with four old European marquise cut diamonds, two at approximately .50 each and two at about .25 carat each. They have large open culets. I am not a gemologist and am unable to grade diamonds. They appear to be white and I do not see any inclusions with my eyes. I am guessing they are G-H color and SI1 clarity or better. The blue sapphire measures at about one carat. It is a medium to dark blue color and appears to be unheated under my microscope. The setting is solid platinum, marked inside the band with a makers mark. The current finger size is about 6.75 and can be resized. The sapphire's facets are worn, they are not crisp. The old box shown is my display. I will ship in a different vintage ring box or you may request a new ring box.
