A very fine chandelier in the Louis XV taste. Constructed utilizing finely cast, and chased gilt bronze, and handblown glass adornments and prisms of cut lead glass crystal; the framework emanates from a central cannellure column, with a foliate cast ceiling rose over, and an inverted conical berried terminal below, with two tiers of floral glass decorations, and having eight ornate arms of "S: form, terminating in canellure bobeches, fitted with candleholders, issuing from Indian mask backplates; fitted for electricity. Measures: 85cm high. 72cm diameter.
