It has all features of a Renaissance dress: multiple layers, high waists, an outer skirt, and long and puffy sleeves. The top dress (the kirtle) is a tight bodice with a flowing skirt. It is decorated with lacing at the front. The sleeves are lush thanks to the folds. All over the dress, there is an ornamental braid that helps make the right silhouette and add elegance. Last, but not least -- fabric pattern. Under the kirtle, there is a white shirt -- an important part of the costume.
