These handwoven earrings combine a hammered brass arch element with circular fringe made up beautiful Japanese Miyuki glass bead colors. The pattern within the circular fringe is inspired by sedimentary rock patterns. The brass arches hang from 14K gold plated ear wires. These earrings are designed by myself and made in conjunction with my team of women artisans from vulnerable communities in Medellin, Colombia whom I train in bead weaving. My artisans receive fair working conditions and compensation for their skills allowing them to become financial contributors to their household and provide economic stability to their families. Care Instructions: - Avoid getting them wet in the shower or pool - Avoid exposing the earrings to direct sunlight for long periods of time as the glass bead colors can fade over time - It is best to store the earrings in a separate place apart from other pieces of jewelry which may cause unwanted damage - Handle with care as they are delicate and hand-sewn with glass beads
