These colorful earrings are handmade from recycled glass, formed into beads known as Krobo beads, hand painted, and fired in a kiln in Ghana, West Africa. Earrings dangle from metal ear wires and they feature hand-painted African designed glass beads. Other matching bracelets and other jewelry may be available - just contact us. All proceeds from the sale of this jewelry go to our non-profit organization Mawuvio's Outreach Programme, which provides free education and care for orphaned and disadvantaged children in Ghana. The money is used to support a 6 classroom and 2 dormitory school that provides over 200 children with the tool they need to succeed - Education. Students & staff at Mawuvio's Outreach Programme string the beads themselves to create handmade bracelets, earrings and other jewelry.
