Pooba were a sentient species that lived in the galaxy. One member of the species, Nubs, was a Jedi youngling during the High Republic Era. Pooba spoke the language Poobian.[1]
Biology and appearance[]
Pooba were a bipedal sentient species with large furry ears. They were covered in a coat of furry blue hair and possessed blue eyes. They also displayed immense strength, being able to hold onto multiple chunks of rocks.[1]

During the High Republic Era, Nubs was a Jedi youngling who served the Jedi Order.[1] In 232 BBY,[3] Nubs, along with other younglings, were stationed on the planet Tenoo, where he continued his training as a Jedi.[4] While on an exploration mission to an old Jedi temple with Grand Master Yoda, Nubs encountered a mural of Jedi Master Barabo, another Pooba Jedi, and subsequently found their lightsaber.[2]

Pooba is a species created for the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures television series that was first pictured on the Star Wars Twitter account.[6] They were first identified in an episode of This Week! in Star Wars.[5]
