- "Rheen the Powderizer Vs. Sallowpink"
"Enhanced, all weapon mods legal!" - ―A draft advertisement for Rheen's match
Rheen, styled as Rheen the Powderizer, was an enhanced gladiator droid. It was humanoid in shape with a narrow head topped with an antenna, a large armor plate over its lower torso and a single armor plate over its right shoulder. The droid's limbs were relatively thin, except for its forearms, which were far thicker.[1]
Between 10 BBY and 3 ABY,[2] the droid was one of the participants at a Pit Fight Night being held at Grakkus Arena, a gladitorial arena owned by the Hutt Grakkus Jahibakti Tingi on the moon Nar Shaddaa.[1] Grakkus was presented with a draft advertisement to approve for the event that listed a fight where all weapon mods were legal between Rheen and the modified B2-series super battle droid Sallowpink as the night's main event.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Rheen was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace with an illustration of Rheen by Adrián Rodriguez.[1]

- ↑ The entry in Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide that mentions Rheen takes place after Han Solo has completed the Kessel Run, but before he encounters a bounty hunter on Ord Mantell, which is mentioned as having occurred prior to the Battle of Hoth in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide establishes that Solo completes the Kessel Run nine years after the Proclamation of the New Order, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 19 BBY, meaning Solo's Kessel Run must take place in 10 BBY. The Atlas also dates the Battle of Hoth to 3 ABY; therefore, the entry in the in-universe book Smuggler's Guide must have been written between 10 BBY and 3 ABY.
