- "I merely wish a servant. Someone who will be waiting there for me when I return. Formed from one of the Emperor's prize souvenirs—sample B-2332-54, I believe it was."
- ―Jedi Master Joruus C'baoth
Sample B-2332-54 was the Imperial sorting code for Luke Skywalker's severed right hand, which he lost in a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader on Bespin's Cloud City in 3 ABY.
The Ugnaught engineer Groggin first discovered the hand in the bowels of Cloud City, along with Skywalker's lightsaber. Vader recovered the hand and the lightsaber from Groggin and immediately delivered them to Mount Tantiss, Emperor Palpatine's private storehouse on the planet Wayland. The hand became one of the Emperor's prized trophies.
In 9 ABY, the mad Jedi Master Joruus C'baoth utilized sample B-2332-54 to create a Skywalker clone, named Luuke Skywalker, in a failed attempt at galactic dominion.
