Tycho was a Jedi Master and one of the many instructors at the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant during the Clone Wars—among those who direct about using scenarios from the war in training—and taught military strategy to Jedi Padawan students for a term.[1]
In 19 BBY,[2] Tycho asked each the Padawans in the lesson to rigorously evaluate which mistake the Jedi had made in the Battle of Honoghr, a conflict where biological weapons had cost millions of lives. Tycho also asked for each Padawan to give a recommendation for how the situation could have been better handled. One student, Whie Malreaux, did well on the assignment, although he felt that the solution was more complicated than either the answer he had submitted or what Master Tycho believed.[1]
