What’s new in Keynote on Mac
Find the right words with Writing Tools. If you have a Mac with M1 or later, you can use Writing Tools with Apple Intelligence to summarize selected text with a click, proofread your work, and create different versions of the same text to help you find the right wording and tone. You can also use ChatGPT with Writing Tools to compose and refine text. See Add text.
Get creative with Image Playground. If you have a Mac with M1 or later, you can use Image Playground with Apple Intelligence to create fun, original images based on a description and suggested concepts. You can also easily adjust the style and make changes to match text on a slide. See Add an image.
Easily play your presentation during a FaceTime call. During a FaceTime call, simply play your slideshow to share it with the call’s participants. You can also invite people to collaborate, edit notes, and change how you and your slideshow appear on your audience’s devices while presenting in FaceTime. See Play a presentation during a FaceTime call.
Use double tap on Apple Watch to advance your slideshow. With Apple Watch Series 9 or Apple Watch Ultra 2 set up as a remote control, simply tap your index finger and thumb together twice to start playing a slideshow or advance to the next slide or build. See Use Apple Watch as a remote control.
Add depth and realism with 3D objects. Add and edit 3D objects that simulate natural lighting, shading, and texture effects. You can add 3D objects created with 3D software or 3D scanning in the USDA, USDC, and USDZ file formats. After you add a 3D object to your presentation, you can resize it, play its embedded animation, and rotate it along its x, y, and z axes. You can also use Magic Move to animate 3D objects across slides. See Add 3D objects.
Present stunning HDR movies and images in high fidelity. Keynote now supports HDR media formats. HDR images and videos appear in higher fidelity when you add them to a slide, and when you play them during a presentation on supported devices. You can also export your presentation in an HDR file format. See Set the movie and image formats and Export to PowerPoint or another file format.
SVG images. Add Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) images to your presentation and preserve visual quality at any size. You can break apart imported SVG images into shapes, edit and combine them like other shapes, and save them to your shapes library to use later. See Add an image and Combine or break apart shapes.
Quickly share and export a presentation. Easily share and export your Keynote presentation in a different format right from the Share menu. You can send a copy of your presentation using AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or another service. You can also send or save a copy in another format, such as PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, Movie, and more. See Send a presentation.
