Information used by Gmail Enhanced Safe Browsing
Gmail Enhanced Safe Browsing works automatically in the background to provide faster, proactive protection against dangerous messages, links, and attachments. When you turn this feature on, it keeps your users safe when they’re signed into their Google Workspace account, and improves their security in Gmail.
When the Enhanced malware and phishing protection setting is on, Google uses information from your users’ Enhanced Safe Browsing (ESB) activity to improve Gmail security for your organization. Google also temporarily associates information from ESB activity to your users’ Google Workspace accounts. Google uses this information to improve Gmail's ability to detect and protect against malware and phishing for your users, and provides better protection from dangerous links across Google apps.
