Report on AMP pages

You can run a report to see how your AMP pages are performing, and another report to confirm that your AMP pages are using the <amp-ad> tag.

Report on AMP pages

Run reports broken out for Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP). This allows you to compare the performance of your ads on Accelerated Mobile Pages to other mobile pages, helping you to optimize monetization.

When you create a report, select the "Inventory types" dimension. An "AMP" row will appear in your report when some ads served to AMP pages.

For more granular data, you can select both the "Inventory types" and "Device categories" dimensions. For example, see web performance broken out by desktop, feature phone, smart phone, and tablet.

Report on AMP Ad tags

Run reports to see the data for ads that were requested from an <amp-ad> tag. You can also combine dimensions to confirm that your AMP pages have <amp-ad> tags.

  • When you create a report, select the "Request type" dimension. The "AMP Ad tag" rows in your report will show the data for ads that were requested from an <amp-ad> tag.
  • To see how many ads on AMP pages were requested from an <amp-ad> tag, select both the "Request type" and "Inventory types" dimensions. Look for the rows with:
    • Request type = AMP Ad tag
    • Inventory types = AMP
If the Inventory type is "AMP" but the Request type is something other than "AMP Ad tag" (such as "Google Publisher Tag" or "Other"), you're likely running ads from a custom domain. You may want to replace them with standard <amp-ad> tags so AMP Ads can load faster. Learn more
