Find app names and IDs in app store URLs

This article is for AdMob users that are trying to set up an app in AdMob and need to locate app names and IDs, which can be found in the Android and iOS app stores.

Here are some tips to help find IDs and names:

Android (Google Play Store)

  1. Go to the Google Play store page.
  2. Search for your app and go to the app page.
  3. The Google Play URL includes the package name and uses the following format:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=<package_name>

Google Play URL in the app page.

Note: You can't link private Google Play apps to AdMob. All Android apps must be publicly available in a supported store in order to link to AdMob.

iOS (Apple App Store)

  1. Go to the Apple App Store page.
  2. Search for your app and go to the app page.
  3. The Apple App Store URL uses the following format:

    http://apps.apple.com/<country>/app/<app–name>/id<store-ID>

iTunes app url in account settings.
