In a chat conversation, you can copy a link to a message and share it with other members in the conversation.
Copy a specific message link
Important: Only people already in the conversation can access and share links to specific messages. When you share a message link with someone who isn’t part of the conversation, they receive a notification that says they don't have access to it.
- On your computer, go to Google Chat or your Gmail account.
- Select a chat conversation you want to get a message link from.
- Hover over a message.
- Click More options
Copy link.
Tip: This feature isn’t available for spaces grouped by topic.
