Move around safely

Important: Currently, the features below are available only on the Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream.

To use the Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream with some VR apps, you need to move around the room you’re in.

Use Daydream in a safe place

We recommend using the standalone device in a room with enough space for you to move around comfortably.

To help your device understand where you are in the room, the room should have bright lighting, some furniture, and decorations (like pictures, posters, or plants).

As you use your device, if you see the message, "WorldSense has stopped," the device is having trouble understanding your position. Your motion in VR will be limited. Try facing a different direction or brighten the room until you see the message, "WorldSense has resumed."

Be aware of what’s around you

As you move around while wearing your standalone device, you might see an arrow appear with the message, "For safety, move back into the experience."

To avoid injury from bumping into objects around you, move in the direction of the arrow or recenter your view. You can also take off the headset and move to a safe location before you put it back on.
