Save web content to Google Drive

You can save images, videos, audio, PDFs, and other files you find on the web on Google Drive with the "Save to Google" Chrome extension.

Keep Google program policies and copyright laws in mind whenever you save something to your Google Drive from the web.

Get the "Save to Google Drive" Chrome extension

You can download the "Save to Google Drive" extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Save items or webpages

  1. On your computer, open Google Chrome.
  2. Open a webpage with content you want to save.
    • Save a link, image, HTML5 audio, or video: Right-click on the item to save and click Save [item] to Google Drive.
    • Save the webpage: In the top right, click Google Drive Google Drive.

Cancel a download

In the download window, click Cancel.

Change how you save web content

In the upper right corner, right-click Save to Google Drive Google Drive and then Options.
