Fit doesn’t store data from my fitness app

Not all apps work with Google Fit. If Fit doesn’t save data from one of your fitness apps, it may be because the 2 apps aren’t compatible. Find a list of Fit-friendly apps. If the app is on the list but doesn’t work, try the following steps.

Check your app connections

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. Tap Profile  and then Settings Settings and then Manage connected apps.
  3. To find the list of apps connected to Google Fit, tap the Down arrow Drop down arrow and then Google Fit apps & devices.

If an app isn’t on the list, it’s not connected to Fit. Learn how to connect apps to Fit.

Check the fitness app’s permissions

  1. On your Android phone, open Settings Settings .
  2. Tap Apps & notifications and then App info.
