Remove personal information from your Fitbit Ace LTE

Before you sell, give away, or trade in your watch, make sure to follow these steps:

Step 1: Charge your Fitbit Ace LTE.

Ensure that your Fitbit Ace LTE has been on the charger and connected to Wi-Fi for at least an hour. This ensures that data associated with your account on the watch is backed up. Data includes school time, trusted contacts, game progress, Bit Valley, player profile, and Daily Quest status. Data will be restored if you plan on setting up a new Fitbit Ace LTE with the same account.

Step 2: Perform a factory reset on your watch.

  1. Ensure the watch is booted up and on the home screen.
  2. Press and hold the top side button, and then scroll down and tap Settings .
  3. Select System and then Disconnect & reset.
  4. Set the toggle option on to Erase eSIM.
  5. Tap the checkmark to confirm.
Note: If you don't plan to set up another Fitbit Ace LTE, cancel your Ace Pass after you erase the eSIM, as your Ace Pass is linked to your account and not the device.
