Send feedback or report a problem with Gemini Apps

If you get a response that’s inaccurate or that you feel is unsafe, you can give feedback on that response to let us know. If you have a general issue with Gemini Apps, or want to tell us about your experience, you can report a problem.

Important: When you submit feedback, the associated conversation, like your prompts and the Gemini app’s responses, is added as part of your feedback. Any included content, such as files and images you upload, as well as your personal content that the Gemini app got from extensions is collected with your feedback and used consistent with Google Privacy Policy.

Give feedback on a response

Important: Users with a work account that has Gemini Advanced and users with a school account will not be able to add additional feedback or attach content.

Your feedback helps make Gemini Apps more helpful, accurate, and safe.

  1. Below the response from Gemini Apps, tap Good response or Bad response .
  2. Optionally, you can select a reason, enter additional feedback, and/or choose to include the files and/or images uploaded before this response with your feedback.
    • Tip: You can help us understand your feedback better when you select a reason. For example, if you select Bad response because it’s unsafe or offensive, selecting Offensive / Unsafe helps us understand your rating.
  3. If you provide additional feedback, tap Submit.

Report a problem or send general feedback

In the Gemini web app

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to gemini.google.com.

  2. At the top, tap Menu  and then Help and then Help.
  3. At the bottom, tap Report a problem.
  4. Enter your feedback. You can choose to add a screenshot to help us better understand the issue.
  5. At the bottom, tap Send.
In the Gemini app and Gemini tab in the Google app
  1. On your iPhone, open the Gemini app .
  2. Tap your Profile picture or Initial and then Report a problem.
  3. Enter your feedback about Gemini in the Google app. You can choose to add a screenshot to help us better understand the issue.
  4. Tap Send feedback .

To report a response for legal reasons:

  1. Below the response, tap More and then Report legal issue.
  2. Select the reason you wish to report content.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

How Google uses your feedback

Your feedback, any included content (like files or your personal content from extensions), associated conversations (like your prompts and Gemini Apps’ responses), and related data are:

  • Reviewed by specially trained teams. Human review is necessary to help identify, address, and report potential problems raised in feedback. In some cases, this is required by law.
  • Used consistent with the Google Privacy Policy. Google uses this data to provide, improve, and develop Google products, services, and machine-learning technologies. This is explained in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
    • For example, we use this data to make Gemini Apps safer. It helps us detect and avoid unsafe requests or responses in the future.
  • Retained for up to 3 years. Reviewed feedback, associated conversations, and related data are retained for up to 3 years, disconnected from your Google Account.
