Gemini mobile apps are currently available in multiple languages and more than 150 countries. We’ll gradually expand to more languages, countries, and territories, consistent with local regulations and our AI principles.
Your Gemini mobile app may be any of the following:
- On Android: The Gemini app, including as your mobile assistant.
- On iOS: The Gemini app or Gemini tab in the Google app.
What you need to use Gemini mobile apps
To use your Gemini mobile app, you must be 13 (or the applicable age in your country) or over.
- To access the Gemini mobile app with your work or school account, you must have access to Gemini Apps. If you’re using a work or school account, check if you have a plan or license that includes access to Gemini Apps.
- You can’t access the Gemini mobile app in the Android Work Profile. Learn more about Android Work Profiles.
- You can’t access Gemini Apps with a Google Account managed by Family Link.
Device requirements
The Gemini app and the Gemini tab in the Google app are available on iPhones and iPads with iOS 16 and up.
Supported languages
Important: The Gemini app is rolling out gradually on iPhones and iPads, so it may not be available in all languages yet.
To use Gemini, Your device’s language in settings must be set to an eligible language.
To change your device's language, or add an additional supported language, on your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app. Tap General Language & Region. Under "Preferred languages," tap Add Language.
